Gosh we are already halfway through 2010.. how time flies!!! Come July, will be a year older...wooottt...wooottt!!!
Spent last weekend lazying around, rearranging stuffs from the boxes (managed to empty quite a number of boxes yippie!!). Then on Sunday evening, headed to Pantai Sepat to enjoy the south china sea breeze.
Oh yes, what beautiful stretch of beaches we have. However, I was so sadden to see all the rubbish being dumped everywhere (or was it washed away from other part of the continent?? hmmmm.....).
Empty bottles, plastics, papers, err nappies???? slippers, tin cans etc etc etc... giving an extra little 'touch of soarness' to the sandy beaches. SIGH.... kenapa org Malaysia sukaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa buang sampah??????
**Oh how I miss the oz beaches.... spotless!!!!!!**
So anyway, before Aiman had the chance to get all wet, we went to have dinner at Santai.
Location: please refer to the website.
Although it was Sunday, the restaurant was quiet and there weren't many customers yet because we were there a wee bit early. Love the santai ambiance... it goes well with the theme: Tenang, Damai, Menyelerakan...
But I do hope the Santai management would do something about the dining chairs. It looked all worn out, with dirty stains and small tears.
Had: Sayur Campur (RM 8)
--nyuummm....oyster mushrooms everywhere!
Siakap Peksak (RM28)
-- oouhhh...sedap sedap!! sllurrppp.. I can still taste sweet and sourness of the gravy... tasted a bit like tom yam.
Butter Prawn (RM9)
-- Presentation wise: Nice
A bunch of fried su'un -is this how we spell it? topped with fried butter prawn, nicely decorated with salads and a flower shaped carrot. However, the butter prawns were too sweet for my taste bud.
They serve western food as well, and I think the price is quite reasonable.
So people, whenever you guys are in Kuantan, do try Santai!
** Sorry no pics this time**
