Nyuummmm

Tetiba saya rasa mcm nak mkn char kuey teow.
Yang letak togeh baaaaanyak-banyak...
dengan kerang baaaaanyak-banyak...
dengan cili jeruk (tak leh la banyak2, takut nnti sakit perut)
Udang tak banyak pun tak pe..asalkan dicompensate oleh kerang yg baaaanyak tadi
Pastu banjir2 sikit..
Perghhhh... teringat char kuey teow kat sri gombak...

emmphh...alahai -Part II

Ni sambungan from the previous entry...

IIa) Briefing for English test
According to the timetable that was given to us, the 9am briefing was supposed to be held at the same place where the registration took place. Maka bgn pagi tu terhegeh2 pujuk Aiman segala bagai, tok abah pun janji nk bwk gi playground kt ttwangsa.
Arrived at around 8.40am. There were a few students dah tercongok menunggu kat entrance area. Tunggu punya tunggu...almost 9am dah tapi takde gaya nk start briefing pun, pintu still tertutup....intai2 belah dalam, mcm deserted je takdak sapa.
Orang makin ramai dok kerumun kat depan entrance, hari pun makin panas.
Tick tock tick tok...dah 9.30am. Aik...briefing kensel ke?
Tetiba ada hamba Allah ni bgtau briefing buat kat tempat lain.
Hokeyyyy....so ikut je la crowd bergerak ke destinasi yg tak diketahui. Sampai kat satu area tu, semua org tercengang2 sebab tak tahu nak ke mana, masing2 muka confused. Ada yg dah marah2 (ke mmg tok arab ni ckp high pitch??). Lepas tu crowd ni bergerak lagi.. ai folo je laaaa.

Jalan turun naik tangga, sampai la kat auditorium ni. Tgk2 briefing dah start!! What the............
Yang dok bercakap atas stage tu syok je scroll powerpoint dia, as if tak perasan segerombolan manusia baru masuk hall. padahal at that moment rasanya audience yg sedia ada dlm auditorium tu maybe dlm <20% je. Lagi 80% ni baru terhegeh2 masuk and cari seat. By the time dapat seat, he was already showing his 2nd last slides.
So banyak la info yg we all missed out, tu yg time Q&A ramai student dok bertanya. Tapi boleh pulak presenter tu kata, "I thought I've already explained and showed it in my slides"
Helllooooo brother, didnt u notice that many of us had JUST arrived and MISSED most of ur slides???
Haaiishhhhhhh....and why in the very first place, no one from 'that' centre had the slightest courtesy to inform us that the venue has been changed?

IIb) Exam day
As usual la, tulis situ 9am, tp 9 am still tak bukak2 lg pintu masuk.
Bila main entrance dah bukak, kena lined up panjang sebab nak kena check ID satu2, studentnya ramai, pintu yg bukak cuma dua. So mmg lambat la prosesnya.
Bila dah masuk exam hall, kedengaran suara sumbang org yg in charge tu terjerit2 suh masuk cepat sebab dah lambat (excuse me, sapa suh hang bukak pintu at 9.10 am, walopun exam sepatutnya start at 9?).
Bila semua dah duduk, bermula la sessi explanation and instruction segala bagai..
Tapi yang sedihnya, kenapa encik nak kena terjerit2 as if yg amek exam ni budak sekolah? Padahal ramai je student2 veteran and international student. Agak kurang respect di situ...sampai ada sorang student ni mengomel sorang2, "omg, must he shout like that?". Tahu le u own the mic.....

Bila exam dah start, ada sorang student ni angkat tangan. So one lady invigilator ni pun pegi la kat mamat tu and it went like this:

Lady: yes, any problem?
Mamat macho: I dont have any pen or pencil
Lady: hah??? U dont have any? why? jhbfjbvksjhfkdlayesiruy8w9843 (mumbling tatau haper)
Mamat macho: *senyum je*

Hahahahaha.....mcmana ni brother, dtg exam bawak henpon je. henpon buleh kuar dakwat eh?

After a long 3 hrs the test ended, mcm biasa harus la encik itu terjerit2 marah sapa yg bgn. dah tu hang bg arahan tak clear hokey! Malas nk layan.....

ok tu je nk citer. kesimpulan, i dah passed pun. hehehehehe

emmphh....alahai! -Part 1

Last week I was in KL, sebab nak settle hal2 registration dgn salah sebuah IPT tu lah... What more can I say other than..."Alahaiiiii... sigh"
Why? Sebabnya:

a) Booklet/Guideline
Masa mula2 received the offer letter, terkejut gak le tgk kat sampul surat tu depa tulis ngan tangan je utk nama dan alamat, dah le hand writing tu ada sedikit sakit mata bila dilihat but tak pe, fine! asalkan encik posmen buleh baca dan tak salah hantar ke alamat lain.

Bukak2 je envelope tu, mak aihh... guideline jenis fotostat je bagi??? Tak tau la kot sebab ai ni local PG student, so bg booklet yg gitu2 je..tapi utk international student kot la depa bagi yg proper2 kan... tapi sedih, fotostat pun jenis yg kelabu asap!!
And one more thing, info kat dlm booklet tu pun byk yg tak jelas, sekelabu asap seperti printing quality-nya...

>>> My 2 cents opinion: Kot ye pun takde budget nak buat booklet yg lawa2, tapi at least please make an effort to produce a simple yet berkualiti punya booklet. Ni mcm haper je, tgk for the first time pun dah takde perasaan seronok..haishhhhh

b) Contact person
Because there were a few issues yg tak berapa jelas kat dlm booklet tu, maka terpaksalah saya gigih menelefon bahagian PG study ni.
However, ntah berapa byk kali ai cuba tepon guna ext number yg tertera di muka depan booklet tu, hareeemmm tak penah nak dpt ok!
So ai cuba call operator suh sambung ke bhgian berkenaan...it was either unanswered or engaged. Banyaaaaaaak kali ai try sampai operator tu pun ckp,
"huh nak sambung ke C*S ye, selalu pun takde sapa angkat.. takpe la, kita cuba je la ye" (operator pun mcm dah give up je)

Ada sekali tu, ai got thru, tapi bila lepas tanya2, staff yg menjawab tu kata dia tak tahu, nnti dia sambung ke org yg berkenaan..pehtu terus engaged!!
dah la susah nak dapat, bila dah dapat, kena redirect pastu terus engaged. bila call balik takde sapa lak yg angkat.. magic sungguh!!
Last2 I asked my bf to try call from his office.....dapat.
Tapi bila dgr dia citer gaya staff yg menjawab tu buleh sakit hati ye! Jenis yg perli2 pastu menjawab! Hambooiii.....kalu ai la, siap dah kena fire mamat tuh!

>>> Tolong la wahai warga C*S, tgk2 sket anak buah yg menjawab telefon tu.. adakah sebab yg telefon tu org local, maka acuh tak acuh je gaya menjawab. Sangat tak berhemah.. Dah la susah nak get through..hotline sgt ker???

c) Registration day
Arrived at 10am....finished by 3pm. Penatnya....
Kesimpulan- Tak teratur kekdahnya... huhuhuhuhu

Scene 1: Payment of fees
It was stated in the offer letter that all payments must be made BEFORE the enrolment date. However kat guideline pulak (and I quote: Please read the guidelines carefully and follow the instructions given) kata payments must be made ON the day of registration.
Huh.. 2 statements yg contradict each other. So I decided to pay ON the day of registration je la. Tapi bila sampai kat sana punya la ramai org kat dalam bank, nak kena tunggu sampai no.83 baru la sampai my turn. Dah le tak leh nak duduk lama dalam bank tu, sebab too crowded..plus ada bau ketiak mashem daaa...tak tahan!
Last2 gi bank kat luar je...Alhamdulillah kejaaaaap je dah settle!

Scene 2: Sesi pengesahan sijil2
It took almost 15 mins to certify the original copy of my certs. They've got the copies of those cert, cuma tinggal nak tgk yg ori, copkan dan sign. Total cert tak byk pun, ada dlm 5-6 copies je. Tapi yg jadi slow sebab the person yg jaga kaunter no. 9 tu baru sampai (agaknya tukar shift kot). So time tu la baru dia tanya kat staff pompuan kat belakang tu what he was supposed to do. So kena la explain satu2 nak kena buat apa... Pelik jugak, takde dibuat briefing ke beforehand?
Bila dah abis cop2 tu, I asked la where to next sebab tak de direction apa semua. Org tu pun blur2 tak tahu.. hehe..kelakar pulak. kesian pun ada.

Scene 3: kat meja berkaitan financial declaration..fees.senang citer, pasal duit lah
Finance staff: U staff kita ke?
Staff kita (saya la tuh): A'ah kenapa?
Finance staff: eh patutnya kalau tak silap I, u boleh dpt staff discount. U tak tgk kat website ke?
Staff kita: website tak ber-update (harap maklum)
Finance staff: bhgian research tak inform u?
Staff kita: Tak penah dia mentioned apa2 pun sebelum ni
Finance staff: Tak pe, u try ty bhgian Finance nanti...
Staff kita: ok terima kasih
>>> Huk oloh..... boleh dpt discount ke????

Scene 4: Return of checklist
At the end of the checklist, it was written in bold that the form should be returned to the C*S. So after I've completed the form, I followed the instruction lah. But not knowing where exactly to submit the form I asked one of the staff. So she said to submit it at the C*S office but then she continued saying that since it was already lunch time, the office is closed. Kena dtg balik at 2pm. Ok fine.. perut pun dah lapar.

Came back after 2pm. Walked to the so called office, but to my disappointment it was still closed. No staffs were seen. Pusing2 kejap then found another entrance but it was locked too. There was a notice on the door yg lebih kurang gini bunyinya:
"The C*S will be closed for the day as all staffs will be at the registration hall for the enrolment of new PG students"

So there I was, walking back to the main hall (sgt penat hokey...dah la membuyung!!). I went back to see the same staff and asked her:

Me: Sorry ye, tadi saya ada tanya kat mana nak submit checklist form ni. U kata kena htr ke office. Saya baru pergi sana tapi office tutup. So macamana?
That lady staff: memang la tutup sebab semua staff turun sini. Takde org pun kat sana (avoiding eye contact)
Me: Dah tu kenapa suruh saya pegi sana in the first place kalau dah tau tutup. Saya nak htr borang ni kpd siapa dan kat mana sebenarnya? (voice tone was a bit on the high side dah)
Lady staff: err...err...jap (muka confused2..pusing belakang tanya kawan dia). Eh borang checklist kalau dah siap kena htr mana hah?
Kawan lady staff: hah..ntah...aku pun tak tahu (muka blur jugak). Cuba ty kat kaunter information kat luar tu

So i went outside the hall. The so called 'kaunter information' was deserted...tak de sapa pun. Meja pun kosong. Last2 tanya kat staff pompuan mana ntah, dia pun blur jugak (apahal ni??). In the end nasib baik dia kata, takpe, bagi je kat dia nnti dia forwardkan

And then masa hari tu jugak lah baru found out that students ada briefing and have to sit for an english test that same week (since my IELTS dah wayyy overdue, so tak valid dah ler). Terpaksa la beta tinggal di kl bersama2 anakanda tercinta sementara kekanda beta pulang ke Ktn.
Alangkah senang sket perancangan kalu pihak yg berkenaan sound awal2 student kena stay for briefing la, test la etc. Kalu student tu jenis dari Kelantan ke, Perlis ke...tak tahu menahu kena stay lagi di KL sebab ada program lepas registration ni, tak ke kesian kat mereka2 ni? nak kena cari accommodation pulak..
Dah la kat website pun tak mention apa2...
Nasib baik my family mmg di KL. Terpaksa la tok abah jadi babysitter Aiman.. hehehehe

p/s: Saya akan mengomel dan mengomen bila ada rasa tak puas hati terhadap kualiti perkhidmatan yang disediakan. I strongly believe that in order to get the work done, to get respect from others and if u are giving services to the public, you should have a proper working ethics.. Utk peringatan diri sendiri jugak. I am not perfect either but sometimes if you do not make changes to improve your working attitude ke, ur staffs, ur department, apa2 je la....you are forever will not gain any respect and forever tak maju. Quality is the best policy gittew....perghhhh!
I say this because I've experienced a whole lot different environment/situation when I was in Sydney. Friendly and professional.....Hati pun manyak senang :)
